Our reputation for quality was built on heavyweight fleece, and this October we want to buy classic Reigning Champ pieces from you, our supporters.
We’re looking for well-worn heavyweight fleece hoodies, crewnecks and sweatpants. Especially those made between 2007-2009, but the more mileage any piece has seen, the better.
We understand these are items you’ve bonded with, clothing you love and depend on, which is why we’re offering two new Reigning Champ pieces in exchange for each one we get back. Here’s how it works:
- Take a photo of your vintage Reigning Champ hoodie, crewneck or sweatpant.
- Upload it to Instagram and/or Twitter, tag your post with @reigningchamp and #classicfleece, and make sure you follow us for updates.
- We’ll select our favourites and contact the owners, who can choose two new Reigning Champ pieces for each old one we buy back.
It’s that simple. Thanks for sharing our history, we’re looking forward to seeing what you’ve got.
Introducing our second collection for Beauty & Youth, subsidiary of well-respected Japanese retailer United Arrows. Classic styles with a slimmer fit than our standard cut, our second collection is made with a custom navy and black border stripe in Reigning Champ’s signature heavyweight terry fabric. All four styles available here.
To commemorate the U.S. Open in Queens, NY, we’ve collaborated with filmmaker and NYC native Jake Davis on a limited run of ‘Canal Street Tennis Club’ member sweatshirts.
“Canal Street Tennis Club is the fictitious tennis club of my dreams where you can get a drink with John McEnroe and Tatum O’Neal in the 80′s after a couple sets and a massage.”
On sale exclusively during this year’s tournament, the sweatshirts are available in Navy with a classic crest and Heather Grey with varsity lettering, and feature the club motto, “First Come, First Served” printed inside the collar.
